Registration will be open until September 30th. Any remaining seats will be communicated via email. Each member firm will be allowed to register up to 10 attendees.
Participation Notice & Waiver Required
This event includes a sporting clay shoot. Participation in shooting activities is voluntary. All participants who choose to participate will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the event. Participation in recreational activities involves inherent risks and participants agree to comply with all safety requirements.

Mental Health Safety & Awareness with Suicide Awareness & Prevention
The construction industry has traditionally focused on physical safety hazards such as falls, equipment, and environmental conditions. However, one of the most significant and often overlooked risks on today's jobsites is mental health.
Construction professionals face demanding schedules, workforce shortages, financial pressures, and personal stressors that can impact focus, decision-making, productivity, and safety. In addition, construction continues to experience one of the highest suicide rates of any profession, making mental health awareness a critical component of a comprehensive safety culture.
This engaging and practical 90-minute presentation combines Mental Health Safety and Awareness with Suicide Awareness and Prevention to help participants better understand the challenges facing today's workforce and learn practical strategies to support themselves and their coworkers.

About the Speaker –
Mark R. Dyke, LPC, LEED AP, CM-BIM

Mark Dyke is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan with over 25 years of professional experience spanning both the construction industry and mental health counseling. He holds a master’s degree in Counseling and a degree in Construction Management.
Before becoming a licensed therapist, Mark built a career in construction and higher education, where he currently serves as a university professor in Construction Technology and Management. His dual background allows him to connect deeply with professionals in high stress industries, particularly construction, where mental health challenges often go unspoken.
As the founder of Collaborative Counseling Group, Mark specializes in helping individuals, leaders, and organizations strengthen resilience, improve communication, navigate conflict, and address stress and burnout. He is a trusted speaker and trainer on topics including suicide awareness and prevention, mental health safety in construction, leadership development, and workplace communication.

Sporting Clays Shoot
Test your skills on the sporting clays course at Triple J Wing & Clay while enjoying a unique networking experience with fellow NECA members. Shooters of all experience levels are welcome. Participants must bring their own shotgun (subject to venue requirements), and should bring their own PPE (hearing and eye protection). Ammunition will be provided by the Fox Valley Division.
